We thought it might be worth while to show display how we process some of our images from start to finish. The majority of the time we get it right in camera by dialing in the proper settings to achieve good exposure, some times we don’t. Either way all images will go through some sort of editing before we release images to our clients.

Example 1

1a. Below are 3 versions of the same image from Jocelyn & Jerry’s wedding. The first image comes SOOC (straight out of camera). In this image we pretty much nailed the exposure using the natural lighting from the sun. Our clients will never receive this :)

1b. The next step was to adjust and boost color, adjust lighting and remove minor blemishes. We do this in Apple Aperture. Many photographers prefer to use Adobe Lightroom, and thats fine. We just love the simplicity and the ease of use of Aperture.

1c. The final step is the last enhancement we’ll make. This is the way your images will be displayed in your wedding album, custom and canvas prints.

2a. Again, another example of our images straight out of the camera.

2b. Color corrections, hair removal and overall tonal enhancements
