Once upon a time Shakinah met her future husband Darmel in a library they were working here in New York. As a tribute to the building blocks of their relationship we decided to shoot their engagement session in the New York Public Library in NYC. It was a joy and pleasure creating their engagement story. We definitely look forward to shooting their wedding later this year. For now enjoy some of our favorites below.

Seattle Maternity Photography – Last month Anyeka and I were commissioned by the incredibly talented Melinda Watts to document the baby shower and celebration for Latasha & Isaiah. Latasha & Isaiah are photographers based out of Tacoma, Washington. Over the past 3 years Latasha & I have talked sparsely over social media so it was an honor to finally meet her and Isaiah. Baby Wisdom is the newest member of their family and we were happy to fly out (and surprise them) to make the event more memorable.
The photo above one of a few shots that we created at Mount Rainer, Washington. The images below were taken are highlights of the baby shower. Enjoy!
NOTE: We don’t often post other events outside of weddings but for this event we made an exception

Last month we photographed the joining of Janina and Molain at the Mediterranean Manor in Long Island. All day the dramatic clouds threatened us with rain, nonetheless the day was beautiful. We shared in the experience with 130 of their celebrating guests. Their day was filled with lots of love and humor. Below we’ve post a few of their images… enjoy!
A special thanks to my boy Chad Pennington for helping me out at the last minute.

We’re often asked by clients if we have carry backup equipment and I totally understand their concerns. The answer to that question is “yes” we definitely have professional level backup equipment and we carry with us when we’re shooting your wedding. While packing my bag for today’s wedding I decided to take a quick photo of the gear I use on a typical wedding.
