I had the great privilege of documenting Monica & Damian’s Riviera Maya, Mexico destination wedding early last month. I’ve been shooting so many large weddings I always seem to forget the uniqueness of smaller intimate affairs. I had a blast, this was my first trip south of the border this summer and I had an awesome time with their families. I was honored that they included me as part of the family for their special weekend. A special thanks to Bernadette of The Kairos Moment & Event Planners for introducing us. As usual she did a stellar job planning & coordinating the entire weekend. All the weekend’s festivities were held at the Adventura Spa Palace.
Take a moment to view Monica & Damian’s Portrait Session. I’ll be posting Part II shortly, which will include their wedding. So for now Enjoy…

I’m so happy for Aysha & Richard. They are expecting their first son this summer and I had the pleasure of capturing them in a intimate maternity session at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden.

I got married in April and since then I’ve been on a little hiatus for a while but I’m slowly coming back into the mix.
I’d like to start this fresh May Monday with a post of Khadeen & Devale. This was my 3rd time photographing this couple and as usual they didn’t disappoint. In March they were expecting the birth of their first baby boy and I had the honor of photographing Khadeen’s Maternity Session. By choice I don’t do many maternity sessions but I’d do just about any thing for my wedding clients and friends. I had fun spending a few hours with them. Have a look at a few of my favorites

Hey folks! Here is the 3rd installment Sherrisse & Sheldon. In this series of images Sherrisse and Sheldon really wanted to capture the essence of New York City in their wedding photography, so after much deliberation I picked a prime location for their bridal portraits on a Saturday in NYC. This area didn’t have a lot of drama but still Oh-SO-NYC.
This particular part of the wedding is always a favorite of mine, The Intimate Portrait Session. In most weddings my couples don’t have much time to relax and hangout with each other after the ceremony. They are usually rushing into a limo, rushing to take family portraits or greeting folks who have come from far and wide to celebrate with them so “alone” time after the wedding isn’t something they get much of. I love capturing moments when couples finally have time alone and this usually happens in my Intimate Portrait Session.
Once again thanks to my brother in the Lord Chad of SobitArt Photography for 2nd Shooting for me and doing a fantastic job! Kudos my friend!

This shoot was a joy. Francis and Andrea are expecting a baby girl this spring. I was the photographer for their wedding last summer and I was ecstatic when I got the call that they were expecting.
Here are a few of my favorites of their Maternity session…
