2011 was our year!
Posted on December 30, 2011
I thought about writing about our 2011 wedding season and speaking about how great our clients have been but as I write I’ve decided to flip the script. This post will be about us, Anyeka and myself.
It has been a phenomenal year we’ve experienced a ton of highs and our share of lows but we thank God we made it through. When evaluating the goals we’ve made it is truly a blessing to say that we’ve met them all. Anyeka and I have learned so much in terms of the art and business of wedding photography. Us having being clients ourselves this year has allowed us to genuinely feel exactly how our clients feel and understand the importance that photography plays on their wedding day.

Us having a blast!
(Updated 1/1/2011) - Last but not least – I would like to thank my good friend Chad and his wife Denise. Chad has been instrumental in helping me step out of my comfort zone to try new things. I remember once this year he literally forced me to do something I wanted to do, but was reluctant to try. He is also responsible for delivering AMAZING (second shooter) work at more than a few of the weddings I’ve shot this year. Thank you Chad for your willingness!

Monica & Damian’s Riviera Maya, Mexico | Portrait Session
Posted on July 19, 2011
I had the great privilege of documenting Monica & Damian’s Riviera Maya, Mexico destination wedding early last month. I’ve been shooting so many large weddings I always seem to forget the uniqueness of smaller intimate affairs. I had a blast, this was my first trip south of the border this summer and I had an awesome time with their families. I was honored that they included me as part of the family for their special weekend. A special thanks to Bernadette of The Kairos Moment & Event Planners for introducing us. As usual she did a stellar job planning & coordinating the entire weekend. All the weekend’s festivities were held at the Adventura Spa Palace.
Take a moment to view Monica & Damian’s Portrait Session. I’ll be posting Part II shortly, which will include their wedding. So for now Enjoy…
Bun in the Oven: Khadeen & Devale
Posted on May 9, 2011
I got married in April and since then I’ve been on a little hiatus for a while but I’m slowly coming back into the mix.
I’d like to start this fresh May Monday with a post of Khadeen & Devale. This was my 3rd time photographing this couple and as usual they didn’t disappoint. In March they were expecting the birth of their first baby boy and I had the honor of photographing Khadeen’s Maternity Session. By choice I don’t do many maternity sessions but I’d do just about any thing for my wedding clients and friends. I had fun spending a few hours with them. Have a look at a few of my favorites
Little Rascals

Every time I’m around children, they remind me why growing up isn’t so cool. Blake and Dean are kids just living life and having fun. I enjoyed my shoot with them. I would still have enjoyed it even if I didn’t have my camera in hand.
When you’re a kid, everything in life is grand. Secretly, I’m still a Toys-R-Us kid
Hope you enjoyed them!
Be blessed,
Josh
We’re engaged!

I proposed to my love (Anyeka) a few weeks ago and I’ve been so busy I haven’t had time to blog anything. I’ll have a few more images and full blog post real soon.
