Fun in Soho with Sherrisse and Sheldon
Posted on April 26, 2010
Sherrisse and Sheldon met at NYU years ago, so it didn’t take us a long time to determine where we’d shoot their engagement session. Lower Manhattan in the NYU and Soho area are where the cool people hang out, and Sherrisse and Sheldon are cool.
We had a lot of fun shooting their engagement session and can’t wait to hang out with them soon
What’s going on here?
Living in NYC you never know who you’re going to run into
John Legend makes good music.
Earlier I mentioned that we had fun with Sherrisse and Sheldon and I meant it. We had so much fun that after their shoot we headed to Negril Village in Soho for some Bahamian Mussels, Jerk Chicken ribettes and Codfish Fritters, YUMMMMM! I’m so eager for their wedding at Sun West Studios in July, I hope there is more of the same

Heat in the city of love… Ingrid & Keith
Posted on April 12, 2010
Anyeka and I met up with Ingrid and Keith some time ago in Philly where they live. Ingrid is the sister of Mercedes my college friend. I met Ingrid while photographing Mercedes wedding last year in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Ingrid and Keith are engaged to be wed later this year, so Anyeka and I decided to head down to Philly to shoot their e-session. We had a blast, except for maybe Keith who was severely bothered by seasonal allergies. Nevertheless, their photos came out great. I can’t wait for the wedding coming up in late summer.
Here are a few of our favorites… (seriously we had a lot of favorites, we have more but it’s just to much for one post

Spring love… Aimi & Ajani
Posted on April 8, 2010
Ahhhh… so refreshing! This was my first wedding of the 2010 wedding season. Happily I didn’t have any shoots during January and February because I really dislike the cold. However, it was great to get back in the mix of things. I was suffering from a bit of “wedding photography withdrawl” if that even exist.
You may remember Aimi and Ajani from their NY South Street Seaport engagement photos I shot in the fall of last year. I love this couple, they are so laid back, so cool, so Jamaican which automatically means everything is IRIE!
Here are a few of my favorites from their awesome wedding…
Rings… Check!
Shoes… Check!
Dress… Check!
A reminder of what her last name will be… Check!
Ajani and his boys. I can’t knock the hustle…

Elegance at it’s finest.
The walk to their first look…
Ajani was definitely happy to see his Bride.
The DJ and his crew were ON POINT! If you were there then you’d know what I’m talking about. I don’t think anyone was sitting once the music started playing.
Aimi and Ajani THANK YOU for allowing us to be part of your special day! I continue to pray God’s blessings on your new family.
Best,
Josh
(Special shout out’s to Leo and Anyeka for shooting with me, I couldn’t have done it without you both)
