Featured on Moirae Affairs!

Posted on February 19, 2010

You know what’s a good feeling? To love what you do (artistically) and to enjoy doing it regardless if anyone approves or disapproves.

But you know what’s an even better feeling? To love what you do (artistically) and to enjoy doing it and others loving it just as much and wanting to share it on their blog. :)

Sherry from Moirae Affairs contacted me earlier this month to feature my work as a small part of their celebration for Black History month. Of course I was honored because first and foremost she enjoys my work, and secondly because of their theme! It was a double whammy. :) I love history! I love learning new things about history and I can probably talk about it all day (literally). I’m happy that Moirae is celebrating this month.

Check out the my feature here.

I’ve been away a long time… although it’s a little known fact that I hate blogging, I do enjoy sharing my work and the cool people I get to photograph with others. So I definitely miss blogging a tad bit more than I should.

The northeast has been getting pound with snow and I’ve been doing nothing but shoveling for the past few weeks. Not to mention the fact that I’m not a big fan of winter :( which makes this time a year sort of difficult for me. Nevertheless, I’ve just been preparing for the upcoming wedding season and I know it’s going to be really awesome unless something really strange happens and it starts snowing in the middle of July (that wouldn’t be much fun).

Do you guys remember Jennifer and Chicho? I shot their engagement photos in Central Park last summer and we had a blast. Jennifer submitted their photos to Wedding Nouveau . Wedding Nouveau  is a cross cultural style guide for today’s bride. It features images taken by some of today’s sought after photographers documenting real weddings of interracial/ multicultural couples that dare to dream outside the box.  Along with tips on different traditions, trend breakers, new wedding fashion styles that merge modern with tradition and creative ideas, Wedding Nouveau captures the unique essence of Fusion weddings.
