Dana

Posted on May 27, 2009

It was just the other day when I was telling a very good friend of mine how amazing it is when people connect. You can meet a person through an arbitrary avenue for example an event or grocery shopping or via mutual friends and that connection can lead to several different opportunities because of this newly formed network.

I met Dana when I was asked by a colleague to be a second shooter for her wedding (That’s her photo along with her husband in the blog header). We lost contact after the wedding and I found her on Facebook a few months after. We recently got together to do a few portraits over the Memorial day weekend. She is a phenomenal dancer (she amazed us with her moves:) and she’s also a stand up comedian, lol. Not really but she was joking on me for the entire shoot. I took a lot of abuse from her :)

Here are 2 from the shoot…

It’s always good thing when you have good friend who will be a friend at all times. It’s an even better thing that friend remains a friend when you guys haven’t corresponded in years. Tootsie and I met in my Rhode Island days and haven’t really spoken since then up until we connected through Facebook. Today we met up and have fun shooting in the city. Definitely good times!
