Mike + Onika (Just a peek)
Posted on March 29, 2009
Well it was my first wedding of the “spring” season and I had a ball. Michael and Onika booked with me very early in 08′ and this wedding felt like it took forever to come. But I had a blast shooting with them even though there were a few time and weather constraints.
I wish Mike and Onika a blessed marriage!
Special thanks to Leo and Elijah for helping me out with the photography!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARCH PEOPLE!

Yes, as you can tell it is my birth month. This young cub is turning into an old lion. Lucky with age I’ll gain some much needed wisdom
So how did I spend my birthday? Well I was sick. I was recovering from a fever, headache and nausea. However I am thankful to God for another healthy year alive that I can spend with my loved ones. At times life seems like it’s so hard, then all I have to remember that I’m alive and healthy and I have people around me that really do care about me. So for this __th year of my life I pray that I will do the will of God and try to do nothing of my own. And maybe a few more weddings
One of my first pictures:
I was so cool with my yellow frames.
She’s an Angel

Just finished up a pretty long day. I had a wonderful time shooting with Angel. We’ve been going back and forth for a really long time because of scheduling… (blah, blah…). But I’m happy that we finally got it over with. Lots of energy, lots passion and she enjoys the camera.
I also want to thank Monique for coming though last minute and the make up and helping with almost everything else
got photos?
Posted on March 14, 2009
During a photo session with Kimi I noticed that her wardrobe and swagger (attitude) was similar to the “got milk” ads of recent years minus the curdled milk looking mustache. I decided to make an ad of my very own and add the old Yashica. So we go for a second round of pics and come up with this shot, entitled “got photos”. I like it
Thanks to Kimi for being a good sport. She drove all the way from Maryland for her photoshoot and she actually missed one appointment just to shoot with me
NOTE: The camera Kimi is holding is the actual FILM camera I learned photography with. It’s a Yashica FX-3 sporting a 50mm f/1.8 lens. The film days were fun, I still remember the workflow photo enlargers, developer, stop bath, fixer, and rinse, and let hang dry!!!

Congratulations Yvette + Bobby

Yvette and Bobby welcomed their first son into the world. Malachi came in at 8lbs 8oz. I had the pleasure of meeting young Malachi about 2 days ago although I don’t think he paid much attention to me
