Friends + U.S. Open = Good times
Posted on September 3, 2008
I had an opportunity to go to the U.S. Open tonight and boy was really exciting
We were originally supposed to be in Authur Ashe stadium, but because Roger Federer wanted to drag out his win against Igor Andreev, the match between Jankovic (2) & Bammer had to be diverted to the Louie Armstrong court. It was first come first serve, so you know I pretty much ran like Forrest Gump to get good seats. I had excellent seats thank’s to Ilan (co-worker) and Helen (his fiance).
The next match was Andy Roddick vs. Fernando Gonzalez, these next photos are our original seats. NOSE BLEEDS!!!!! LOL!
The crew… Will, Maria, Doros, Doros’ friend (hiding) and Ola. Im the guy you can’t see holding the camera
Thanks Maria for the ticket hook up.
See how high we were? N O S E B L E E D S
Ilan had seats elsewhere and decided to send us a text message…
Zoomed in it says “I am afraid of heights”… all we could do is laugh because Ilan is one of the tallest people we know. Hands down the tallest in the office coming in at 7′ 15″ lol. Good one Ilan!
I left early because of my 1hr45min commute to Brooklyn. I got home just in time to find out that Andy won the game, as expected.
Thats all folks…
