There is something special about Lauren & James. From the magic that we captured on their Fire Island Engagement shoot to the overwhelming love and emotion that pour through on their wedding day, I can honestly say I love photographing them. The wedding day was one of the most beautiful days we’ve had in NY this spring thus far. Along with the weather, Lauren & James’ union was equally pleasant. Their joy and happiness, the range of emotions. The feeling of love was definitely in the atmosphere. James & Lauren, thank you so much for your trust and friendship! Let’s go Knicks
Here are just a few of my favorites from their wedding day!

I had loads of fun after heading down to Charlotte to meet Nia & Jeff. I hadn’t met either of them before shooting their engagement session but they beyond cool. We chatted about life, family, sports, the future and of course their wedding. I’m looking forward to shooting them again next year. Until then, enjoy my personal favorites from their engagement session

Earlier this spring I shot Katiera & Marques’ wedding at ‘The Palace at Somerset’ in NJ. It was a joyous (and tearful) event. Their friends and family traveled from as far as California to celebrate with them and I’m glad to have played a role. To Katiera & Marques, thank you for love and warmth. You both treated me as a friend since the first time we met in Easton, PA. I’m blessed to have you both as clients and now friends!

Congratulations to Tauheedah & Demond on their 15th wedding anniversary. Tauheedah & Demond met each other way back on Howard University in DC, so it was only fitting that return to DC for their portrait session. I had fun shooting with them as they reminisced about good times. After 15 years of marriage I could tell Demond was still the smooth operator that Tauheedah feel in love with. Their chemistry was evident and I enjoyed photographing them.

Cyprus Wedding Photographers – This past January I was able to photograph my first European wedding. It was a wonderful experience. Documenting a different ceremonial ritual was a breath of fresh air from what I’m used to photographing in the west.
Even with the uncertainty of the volatile weather, Doros and Helen were extremely excited to have us over to photograph their wedding. Their friends and family traveled from the US and all over Europe to share this momentous occasion with them. Unlike western culture in Cypriot culture, the bride and groom gets prepared in the presence of their friends and family along with other traditional rituals. Their reception was held at Famagusta Gate which is part of the fortified medieval town wall of Nicosia. The formal reception (and dinner) was held at Hilton Park Nicosia. Along with their guest, Helen and Doros partied all night long, literally.
Special thanks to my buddy Chad for coming along and helping me for the weekend #godsend
