A few months ago I introduced my blog readers to my friend Stacy, aka “The Queen.”
Stacy is a dear friend of mine and I am honored that I’ll play a very important role in documenting her wedding this summer.
We shot Stacy and Elias’s engagement session late last year in and around the city. Elias, who is now my new “brother from another…” was ecstatic during this particular trip to NYC and I can’t really blame him. Elias hails all the way from Dade County Florida. It was the first time snow fell in NYC this winter and he was able to witness it. He prayed and prayed and prayed that it would snow, and the Almighty God answered his prayer. I thought it would be appropriate to title this blog “Fish out of water and loving it” because we had lots of fun while they were here.
Here are a few of my favorites from their engagement shoot…

Many blessings I bestow upon my loyal subject, Sir Dwain of the Flat Bush. The Queen truly is the fairest of them all.
Amazing pictures!!!
Nice work…
What a gorgeous couple! I love the creativity, the composition, the beautiful use of light and the emotion in these images. Just fantastic. Looking forward to meeting you later this month!
