A few months ago I received a Facebook request from a random girl named Barbara. I usually get random requests because people admire my work, so of course I had to accept her to see what she’s about. We corresponded a few times and she told me she loved my images.  (It always makes me happy when people enjoy my work.)  Barbara is a New York City based Radio personality with various station in and around downstate New York. So one day I got to thinking, “Maybe I should ask Barbara if she would do a test shoot for me”. Of course the thought never transpired into anything because I didn’t ask her. I was thinking “It would’ve never worked, I’m always busy and I have no time, especially for doing a test shoot”. Well, a few days went by and guess what happened? I got a message in my Facebook inbox and it was Barbara. She wanted to know if I was available to do some portraits for her in New York City. I was thrilled!

Today we spent some time in and around lower Manhattan. Here is one of my favorites:
